Training and Education in Vayots Dzor
Description
Following the 2020 war, a large number of young people ended up in the Vayots Dzor Region of Armenia, including Young people who were injured during the war. To help provide specialty training including vocational to help these young people work and earn a living, this special fund has been created. Work will be done to support the activities and specialized training via a variety of non-governmental organizations in the Vayots Dzor Region.

The Need
Displaced young people and returning soldiers with disabilities need specialized training and education to hold the skills they need to work and earn a living. Currently very few opportunities for these young people exist in this area.
Short Term Impact
In the short term, local NGOs will be engaged to establish vocational another specialty training programs in the region. This will immediately benefit both instructors as well as students.
Long Term Impact
In the long term, the economic conditions throughout the region will improve as these young people master their skills and work.
